How do I add Coday widgets to my Home Screen, and which ones are free?

On iPhone, iPad, Android and HarmonyOS you can add Coday's Item Card and Statistics Card to your Home Screen: touch and hold an empty spot, find Coday, and add one. The Item Card comes in three types, latest, rotating and pinned. Latest Item and the Statistics Card are free; rotating and pinned need Premium. iPhone and iPad need iOS 17 or later.

Tap an Item Card to open that item in Coday; tap the Statistics Card to open Coday.

iPhone and iPad (iOS 17 and later)

  1. Touch and hold an empty spot on the Home Screen until the icons jiggle, then tap Edit at the top left → Add Widget.
  2. Search for "Coday", choose Item Card or Statistics Card, swipe to pick a size, and tap Add Widget.
  3. The Item Card shows your latest item. To make it rotate or show a fixed item, touch and hold the widget, tap Edit Widget, and under "Select Widget Type" choose "Rotate Items" or "Fixed Item". For a fixed item, pick it under "Select Item to Display".

Coday works on iOS 15 and 16 too, just without Home Screen widgets.

Android

  1. Touch and hold an empty spot on the Home Screen and tap Widgets.
  2. Find Coday and drag the one you want onto the Home Screen: the item card comes in small, medium and large, the stats card in small and medium.
  3. When you drop an item card, "Choose Widget Type" opens. Pick latest, rotating or pinned. For pinned, choose an item and tap Add.

To change the type or the item later, remove the widget from the Home Screen and add a new one.

HarmonyOS

  1. Touch and hold the Coday icon on the Home Screen to open its service widgets.
  2. Choose "Item Widget" or "Statistics Widget", swipe to pick a size, and add it to the Home Screen.
  3. The item widget shows your latest item. To switch to rotating or fixed, touch and hold the widget, tap Edit, and choose under Display Mode.

When Premium ends

Rotating and pinned item cards go back to showing your latest item, with no need to remove and re-add them. They come back if you get Premium again. The Statistics Card isn't affected.

When the numbers update

  • Change an item in Coday and the widgets update right away.
  • Cost per day keeps going down day by day without you opening Coday. If you haven't opened it for over a month, the numbers stay on that day until you open it again.
