How do I get reminded before a free trial ends?

Write down when the trial ends on the day you start it, and let your phone remind you a day or two before, so you can cancel before you're charged if you don't want to keep it. In Coday: log it as a subscription, turn on Trial Period, enter the trial days and set the trial price to 0. You're reminded 2 days before the trial ends. Coday can't cancel for you; you cancel wherever you subscribed. Free, no sign-in needed.

How to log it

1. Add an item and set Pricing to "Subscription · Per day".
2. For "Price per Period", enter what you'll be charged each period after the trial; for "Start Date", the day the trial started; under Every, monthly or yearly.
3. Turn on Trial Period and enter the Trial Days. For a free trial, set Trial Price to 0.
4. Save. The item's page shows how many days of trial are left.

How far ahead you're reminded

By default 2 days before, at 9 AM. Some services need you to cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, so to leave room you can change it to 3 days: tap the Trial end reminder, or tap it under You → Reminders.

Not keeping it

1. Cancel where you subscribed: on iPhone and iPad, Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android, Payments & subscriptions in Google Play; for something you signed up for on a website, that site's account settings.
2. Back in Coday, edit the item, set Status to "Retired" and enter the Cancellation Date. The reminders stop.

Keeping it
